As we close out another week, we are reminded that purpose is more than something we talk about—it’s something we live out through service.

At Shoes-A-Million, our purpose is to make sure children know they are seen, supported, and valued. Every pair of shoes we provide represents more than footwear—it can bring comfort, confidence, dignity, and encouragement to a student.

Our mission continues throughout the 2026–2027 school year! When our schools and families have a need, we want to be ready to serve through the Mckennly Vento Program for homeless students and families that has been missed placed.

Today, Shoes-A-Million is thankful for the people who continue to show up, give back, and help us make a difference in the lives of our children.

Looking back at our Back To School Bash 2026, these moments remind us that it takes a community working together to create lasting impact. From putting backpacks and supplies into the hands of students to building relationships with organizations and community supporters, every act of service mattered. 🎒💙

Today, Shoes-A-Million is simply THANKFUL!

As the 2026–2027 school year gets underway, we are grateful for every teacher, administrator, parent, volunteer, donor, community partner, and supporter who continues to stand with us as we serve our students.

We are especially thankful for our school partnerships with KIPP NC Public Schools, Roanoke Rapids Graded School District, Weldon City Schools, Rocky Mount Preparatory School, and Edwards Elementary School in Rocky Mount, NC. 🏫💙

Our work doesn’t stop when an event ends. Our mission continues throughout the school year. We will keep showing up, building relationships, providing footwear, supporting families, and helping students walk into school with confidence and dignity.
