So, after the visit, d-Harris was given 45 + days to write the summary information resulting from the official visit. As I stated, the visit went very well. The consultants were very kind and helpful. Our summary will cover enrollment forms, refunds, and annual reports (statistics for performance of the students at the school). I believe we fared very well for a first year school. Our 45 + days are over mid November so our report must be submitted prior to that time. After which, our school information is submitted to the Commissions for their blessing. I hope they will review in December n by January/February, we will have our number in our hot little hands. Look for new advertising announcing student eligibility for financial aid. Thank you for your continued support!

Thank all for your support n prayers. The visit went well n we are on to the next phase! They were very helpful, encouraging n supportive. Success is the future of d-Harris Barber College,Inc. God's grace n mercy has shown on us. Peace n Love.

Family n friends,
Time is winding down to August 2nd. I am already nervous. There is so much to plan, do, remember n get it correct. Last opportunity before the 'Big Guns' show up. We are getting the place spruced up; i.e. Floors, refill coke machine (water), etc. My notes are longer than ever (those that know me).
Excited, too. We have worked hard n sacrificed since 2014 for this opportunity (for our community, us n generations to come).
Our prayers will be answered. We will offer opportunities to many and contribute to our community in ways we have been unable to do in the past. We can offer tutoring to students in need, haircuts for the new school year, assist with projects n programs (children in foster care), help the needy ( homeless n abused) and maybe create something that is not yet in place. God has already been very good to us n I look forward to all that we are yet to do to improve LIFE in the communities we serve

FB family, friends n supporters, I couldn't wait to tell all of you that d-Harris Barber College, Inc received the long awaited notice today that we will be visited on August 2, 2018. I was holding on n only faith kept me from fainting. I realize that we don't have our number ( that's what you get for passing) yet; but as I was told I have dreamed, acted upon that dream and done everything within my power to hit the mark. I have assumed y'all knew but just in case, when the school is approved, we will be eligible for our students to apply for grants n loans to attend. We have already received the 'secondary institution notification from the Barber Board in Raleigh. One step at a time! I want to 'Thank' all of you for your continued support n prayers. Y'all are the best! Peace n Love......

Hello to all family, friends n supporters of d-Harris Barber College, Inc. I know it has been awhile but kept hoping to include the official visit date, but, I guess not. The school continues to operate Tuesday - Thursday from 8:00 to 12:00. Friday students are available to cut from 8:00 to 4:00. Please come by n support your favorite student. Thank you for your continued support

AND, we are waiting.... hoping the date for our visit will be set soon (like yesterday) ! Thank you for your support and we look forward to a celebratory moment as soon as we pass. Keeping our heads up.

Good Evening family n Facebook friends ,
Happy belated holidays n new year. I extend my apology because my sister, my cousin was really sick during this period of time and she did actually expire right after Christmas. I am still processing n trying to wrap my head around this. But, I am moving through the days and because of prior experience, looking for that brighter day.

Thank all of you for your continued support and I am happy to report that d-Harris has applied for the final consultative visit from NACCAS. We are so very happy that all of our documents were received according to the rules. We are awaiting notice of the visit date. We are excited! We are also in disbelief because this has been the process we were warned about. We are trusting that the visit will be scheduled asap, consultants will come, d-Harris will be in compliance and will be approved to participate in Title IV funding.

We look forward to that day.
