Had a nice dinner at To***co Road in Raleigh with Paul Munson last night! Great getting together, especially after "Snowmageddon 3.0." We're talking about an RRHS get together again in the spring - maybe in early April. More to follow!

Everybody say congrats to Dr. Larry L. Webb, the North Carolina Region 3 Principle of the Year! This news just out today. Very cool and quite the accomplishment! We understand the entire school turned out in the Eaton Johnson Middle School gym in Henderson to surprise their unsuspecting leader. Now, he moves on to the statewide competition. Way to go, Larry Lee! The doctor is definitely IN! It will be impossible to live with you now.

Lasagna buffet tonight starting at 6 at Eagle Ridge Clubhouse. We will darken the door this week. Hope to see other RRHSers there. Runs to 8.

The Rapids High School all decorated for the holidays. That seems to amount to three anemic wreathes on the door. Joyce Crane's retirement is evident.

Robert Carver and Tad Wood solved the world's problems over drinks and some choice lunch items at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course this afternoon. Were going to hit a bucket of balls, but the weather did not cooperate. There's a great lasagna buffet there this Thursday at 6 for any Jackets interested. I know we'll be there.

Everybody...Triangle-based folks and people who can get to the area, Brian Gurganus and Robert Carver have cooked up the idea of having a local meetup after the holidays. Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 11, 2014, 6:30 p.m. at the North Raleigh location of http://hibernianpub.com/, 8021 Falls of Neuse Road. It's close enough to 540 to be convenient for most folks, we hope!
