Friday, October 23, 2026 will be the RRHS Homecoming game honoring former basketball players! Both mens and womens teams, if you are a RRHS Alumni, please join us that evening for a reception before the game and recognition pregame on the field! Here’s a throwback from the 1983 men’s basketball team and the 2026 men’s team! If you have other throwback pics, please share them in the comments!

Phase 2 of the Brick Project is going on now! 🙌🏻💛🖤🧱
Applications will be accepted through one week after Homecoming 2026 so that bricks can be laid and revealed at Christmas at the Castle, which will be December 18, 2026!
Forms can be picked up or dropped off at Phil Hux‘s office!
If you haven’t seen the first phase, ride by and check them out! They look awesome! Shout out to Charles and Nathaniel Arrington for their excellent work on Phase 1!!! 👏🏼💛🖤🐝

🏀💛 PLAYOFF WIN FOR THE JACKETS! 💛🏀

Congratulations to the RRHS Boys Basketball team on their 51–40 victory over Nash Central in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA 4A State Playoffs!

The Yellow Jackets will host Eastern Wayne tomorrow, Saturday, February 28 at 3:00 PM!

🎟 Admission: $12 (set by NCHSAA) — cash only at the gate
🎫 Only NCHSAA passes will be accepted (no local RRHS or RRGSD passes)
🔎 All spectators will pass through a security checkpoint
👜 Clear bags only will be permitted in the gym

Come out, pack the gym, and support our Yellow Jackets as they continue their playoff run! 💛🐝

What a beautiful evening to celebrate Christmas at the Castle! 💚❤️ There were nutcrackers guarding the doors, carolers singing, instruments playing, candles appearing lit in all the windows, Santa on his sleigh, and you might even see the Grinch peeking out the window if you zoom in on some of the pics! Wonderful, small town Christmas spirit, celebrated Yellow Jacket style! And the first phase of the Brick Project was revealed tonight! Special thanks to Nathaniel and Charles Arrington for their excellent workmanship! It is a beautiful display, come by anytime and check it out!
