Let’s LIGHT UP the Viking field!
Halifax Academy’s Youth Cheer Team has announced that tomorrow night, Tuesday, September 1, will be NEON NIGHT at our home Youth Football game!
Come out and cheer on our Vikings and wear your brightest neon yellow, pink, green, blue or purple. The brighter, the better!
Let’s fill the sidelines with Viking spirit and NEON!

Halifax Academy’s “Can You Believe It’s Scott Hall’s Birthday?” secret was… A BIG SURPRISE!
We can safely say that Mr. Scott was genuinely surprised as can after can of food was handed to him this morning. Thank you to everyone who helped us keep the secret and sent in a can to help us celebrate someone who makes such a big deal out of celebrating our students.
Now, all of the food collected will be donated to a local food bank in Scott’s honor, making his birthday surprise even more special.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Scott! We hope you felt just how much your Halifax Academy family appreciates you.
🌞 And while we definitely appreciate a sunny, sunny day, it sure makes it hard to keep our eyes open when pictures are taken. 🌞

We could use extra hands tomorrow!
Join us Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Halifax Academy football field as we continue our Football Bleacher Project. If you have carpentry skills, are handy with tools, or are simply willing to help, we’d love to have you.

And yes, your time counts toward your family’s volunteer work hour credits!

🤍 Many hands really do make light work. 💚
Our Junior Class recently lent a hand to Hope for Hardy, helping prepare signs for the upcoming Twilight Festival. What could have easily been a two hour job turned into about a 10 minute one with this crew working together.
We’re always proud to see our Vikings step up, pitch in, and help support organizations and events right here in our hometown. Great job, Juniors!

Before there’s any mixing of chemicals or cutting with scalpels in Mrs. Mills’ Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy classes, there’s one thing that has to come first...lab safety.
Because let’s be honest, there are just too many things that can go wrong. 😱
So before the fun stuff begins, Mrs. Mills makes sure her students know the rules and how to keep themselves and each other safe.
Here are a few of them sporting their eye protection and getting one step closer to the good stuff!
