Suncoast, an IB World school, houses both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) as a part of an IB continuum with neighboring Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary (PYP) and John F. The Computer Science (CS) program and Math, Science, and Engineering (MSE) programs teach students to meet the needs of the changing technological world. Further, the In

novated Interactive Technology (IIT) is an advanced, technological curriculum that ensures Suncoast graduates are both college and career ready. IIT also offers students the ability to add an International Baccalaureate Career Certificate (IBCC) increasing the challenging academic courses students will take and providing real-world, hands-on experience in careers through internships and a reflective project. Suncoast High School also offers students in the AP Capstone Program in 11th and 12th grade. Suncoast Community High School continues its mission to promote diversity as an IB world school. Students come from 66 different birth countries and speak over 44 languages. Forty-three percent (43%) of the student population is White, 19% Hispanic, 19% Black, 15% Asian; additionally, fifty (50) students are Multi-Racial and seven (7) are American-Indian. All students celebrate and mature through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile, as every student is enrolled in the Middle Years Program (MYP) in grades 9 and 10. Nationally, Suncoast is the ONLY Palm Beach County District High School in the top 100 - ranking #81 out of approximately 18,000 schools nationwide. And in Florida, we made the TOP 10 list of schools in the state - ranked at #8. Congratulations Chargers!
