Hey Ram Fam!!! We're off to a great start and we just wanted to thank our teachers, parents, students, and community for a wonderful start to the year. We're thrilled to share some news on our climb. We continue to climb in our test scores and have seen the highest i-Ready proficiency scores we've ever had. i-Ready combines scores for students k-8. Our Reading was at 59% "on or above grade level" and our Math was 55% "on or above grade level." The reading is a 23% increase from three years ago, while Math is a 12% increase. The spring WVGSA, which is the state test for 3rd -8th grade students, resulted in the highest ELA proficiency we've had in the past 10 years. Our Math scores put us above the county and state proficiency levels. Please see the attached document that highlights our WVGSA Scores. We're thrilled that we continue to improve, but we aren't done climbing yet!!!! Also, the Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) will be held on September 14th with the PTO meeting. It is an opportunity to be on a team that focuses on improving our school. It gives parents and community members the chance to work with school leadership to continue our climb.
