Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Dr. W. Michael Kunert’s passing. Michael was a passionate Montessorian who touched the lives of many throughout his life's journey. As a Director and lecturer at the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center, he inspired a generation of new teachers with grace and wisdom. His stories were legendary, drawing one into his life experience, punctuating a point of philosophy, and touching your heart through a common thread of humanity. We remember him with gratitude and appreciation, the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center (MMTTC).
