Remember: You can find your child's homeroom assignment in Focus after you've completed the back to school forms. This is also where you will find the room number of that teacher!

In addition to PTA goodies in the cafeteria this is also where you'll be able to:

update missing information with our Data Processor

As a reminder, students are responsible for locking their own bikes on the bike racks, but we will have bike locks for sale for $5 each, cash only.

STUDENT SCHEDULES: Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, families can view student schedules through the HCPS Focus Parent Portal.

To access your student's schedule, you'll first need to complete all required back-to-school forms online. Through the portal, families can complete required acknowledgments and permissions and submit everything electronically. No paperwork required!

Reminder: Student schedules will be available after all required back-to-school forms have been completed.

On Friday we welcomed back our teachers and staff to begin preparations for the 2026-2027 school year. This will be Dawsons 10th year open and it will be our best one yet! 📚

We’ve got a full week this week as we prepare for students to return on August 10th. Classroom assignments will be available on Focus on August 4th and our annual Meet and Greet is on Thursday, August 6th. 📝

Time to fill out your first day forms! New this year: most back to school forms will be completed on Focus, and they’re available now. Get a head start on the school year by completing them now 👍🏼

3rd graders received their signs on Friday, 4th grade is coming home this week, and 5th grade wraps up testing on Tuesday with their math test!
