Reminders for the week: There is no school on Monday because of the Memorial Day holiday.

Tuesday is spirit night at Cold Stone Creamery from 2-5pm. Let them know you are there to support SCES spirit night!

Friday is the last day of school, and students will be dismissed at 11:25am.

If your student is missing a jacket, water bottle, lunch box, or other item, be sure to check the lost and found collection outside the front office. Any items not claimed by Friday will be donated.

Final report cards will be available online on June 8th. Parents can see report cards on the Focus Parent Portal as long as the parent account is linked to your student. https://hcps.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/auth/

Our Battle of the Books team finished in 4th place at today’s district competition! 📚🏆 These dedicated students read all 15 Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) books and competed virtually against teams from across the district. Their teamwork and love of reading made this achievement possible!

Today we welcomed back graduating seniors for a special clap out through the halls where their journey began. Congratulations class of 2026! 🎓

What a glowing success! 😎✨ Today we celebrated 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who showed proficiency or met gain goals on their FAST assessments. We are proud of all they accomplished this year!

Our “Paws in Motion” step team brought energy, dedication, and heart to the stage in their final performance! We are proud of their hard work this year and can’t wait to see them continue to grow and shine.🐾💙💚

Candy grams are on sale until May 21st and will be delivered on May 22nd. Extra order forms and the turn in box are in the media center.

Wednesday is spirit night at Texas Roadhouse from 3-9. Be sure to let them know you are there for Summerfield Crossings' spirit night so that our school gets credit.

Thursday is our "Paws In Motion" spring performance in the cafeteria at 5pm.

Friday is Kona Ice day. Prices start at $4, and all sales support the 5th grade end-of-year activities. Please remember to send money with your student if they want to participate; no money will be accepted in the office or delivered to classrooms.

Wednesday is National Bike to School day. Mr. Cummings will be meeting bikers at the Summerfield Golf Course at 6:50am to bike to school together. All participants will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a bike or scooter (donated by our friends at Sidewalk Stompers)!

ALL library books are due by Friday. Any books not returned will result in a $10 fee added to your student’s My Payments Plus account.
