Thinking about joining Anchor but want to meet us first? Maybe you've got three hundred questions you want to ask??? Well we are doing our first Meet and Greet for the summer on Wednesday June 24th!! We will be at the Riverview Library in the big Community Room on the opposite side of the lobby from 1:30 - 3:30pm. We will have a bunch of families there so your kids will be able to play some board games and meet some new friends while you meet your new mom friends, ask your questions, and learn all about how fun homeschooling can be when you find your tribe!!

Anchor is making a big change this year! We are moving to a class model with a dedicated teacher for the entire semester. Each class is just $120 for the semester and we will start each morning with a time all together for announcements and prayer. Here is our class descriptions for the upcoming semester. We took a week off from our normal classes and did A Night at the Museum. Museum exhibits came to life and taught us fascinating facts and stories! It was a wonderful chance for the students to do a research project and flex their public speaking skills. Sometimes it is hard to incorporate these things into your homeschool, but doing it with friends always makes it so much more fun! The kids all did such a fantastic job!

Our favorite event every year! The Anchor Easter celebration was a huge success once again. We kicked things off with a big potluck brunch. Then we took time to reflect on the true meaning of Easter—how Jesus died for our sins and rose again, defeating the grave and offering us new life. The celebration continued with an exciting egg hunt, followed by a chance for kids to trade in their eggs for candy, toys, and games at the shop.

Field Trip to the Dakin Dairy Farm! We learned all about ...blah blah blah....we got to pet and snuggle baby cows!!! 🐄💕💕
