Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙
As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we also pause to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served and gave so much. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
From all of us at Mary Go Round, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸✨

Our front wall lastmonth said:
‘We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.’” 💛✨
One of our school-age groups spent time reflecting on their favorite MGR memories and adding them to the wall for our 50th Anniversary celebration. From swimming and field trips to friendships and everyday fun, each circle holds a little piece of childhood. 🫶
Watching the children share stories, laugh together, and remember special moments reminded us exactly why MGR has meant so much to so many families over the last 50 years.
Sometimes the best childhood memories are made in the simplest moments. 💫

One of the best parts of our 50th Anniversary BBQ was simply watching generations of MGR families enjoying time together. 💛
From swinging on the playground and friendly games of tetherball to giant Jenga, co****le, basketball, and slides, the laughter and smiles everywhere were exactly what MGR has always been about. ✨
For 50 years, MGR has been a place where children can simply be children… making friendships, memories, and moments that last a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and helped make the day so special. 🫶

One of the most special parts of our 50th Anniversary BBQ was our “MGR Memory Lane” room filled with photos, scrapbooks, swim memories, and moments dating all the way back to 1976. 📸💛
A huge thank you to for capturing so many of the memories displayed throughout the room over the years.
Watching alumni, former families, staff, and current students flip through decades of memories was truly heartwarming. So many people found photos of themselves as children, and one little girl even found a picture of her dad from 1986! 🥹
Families were also invited to fill out hearts sharing their favorite MGR memory, something they learned during their time here, or a special message to add to our celebration. Reading through the memories, stories, and kind words reminded us just how many lives have been connected through MGR over the past 50 years. ✨
From swim days and graduations to everyday childhood moments, it was a beautiful reminder that MGR has always been more than a school… it’s generations of memories, friendships, and family. 💛

And some handprints are just beginning their MGR story. 💛🌳
Watching our current students and families add their colorful handprints to the MGR Family Tree was such a special part of our 50th Anniversary BBQ celebration.
Each tiny handprint represents laughter, learning, friendship, and the childhood memories still being made every single day at MGR.
For 50 years, generations of children have filled these halls with joy and the story is still growing. ✨
Have photos from the BBQ or favorite MGR memories to share? Add them in the comments, we’d LOVE to see them! 📸💛

Some handprints returned after years away… 💛🌳
One of the most meaningful moments from our 50th Anniversary BBQ was watching alumni add their handprints to the MGR Family Tree.
Seeing former students come back, many now grown, some now parents themselves, was such a beautiful reminder that MGR has always been more than a childcare center. It’s a place filled with lifelong friendships, childhood memories, and community.
Your handprints are now forever part of the MGR Family Tree, just like your memories will always be part of our story. ✨
Have your own throwback MGR photos or BBQ memories to share? Add them in the comments, we’d LOVE to see them! 📸💛

The hands behind generations of memories. 💛🌳
As part of our MGR Family Tree, our staff added their handprints alongside the children, families, and generations they’ve loved and cared for over the last 50 years.
One of the most special moments was seeing some staff members share this experience with their own children and grandchildren — now adding their handprints beside theirs and becoming part of the MGR Family Tree too. ✨
For decades, MGR teachers and staff have helped shape the laughter, comfort, learning, and love that families remember forever. This tree is filled with more than paint — it’s filled with the people who helped build the heart of MGR.
Have a favorite MGR teacher memory or your own BBQ photos to share? Add them in the comments — we’d love to see them! 💛
