🌿 Our Interpretation of Family 🌿

In the Reggio Emilia approach, children are viewed as capable, creative thinkers who express their ideas through the 100 Languages of Children. Today, our little learners explored the meaning of family through clay, buttons, beads, and other open-ended materials.

Each creation tells a different story—because every child’s interpretation of family is beautifully unique. Through their hands, imagination, and choices, children represented the people who bring them love, connection, comfort, and belonging. 🤎

There is no single way to represent a family. Every family has its own story, and every child has their own language for telling it.

✨ “A child has a hundred languages, a hundred hands, a hundred thoughts…” — Loris Malaguzzi

🍓🌱 Look what’s growing at Prodigy! 🌱🍓

Our students were SO excited to discover our very first strawberry growing! ❤️🍓 From tiny flowers to our first little berry, our indoor garden is giving our students the opportunity to watch nature come to life right before their eyes.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we love creating hands-on learning experiences that encourage our children to observe, investigate, ask questions, and make discoveries together. 🌿🔍

There was definitely no shortage of excitement when everyone spotted that little pop of red! ❤️ Now the big question is… who will get to taste the first strawberry? 😋🍓

We can’t wait to continue watching our strawberry garden grow and see how many more berries appear!

🌱 Little hands. Big discoveries. Learning that grows! 🍓✨

✨ Nothing but SMILES for our first week back at school! ✨

There’s something so special about seeing our little learners return with big smiles, curious minds, and excitement for all the adventures ahead. 💙🌿

Our first week has been filled with laughter, connection, exploration, and joyful moments as our children reconnect with friends, build relationships with their teachers, and rediscover their learning environments. In our Reggio-inspired approach, we believe these moments of happiness and connection are where meaningful learning begins. 🌱

Every smile tells a story. Every interaction builds a relationship. And every day brings a new opportunity to wonder, explore, create, and grow together. ✨

🌿✨ Meet the Teacher 2026 ✨🌿

What a beautiful way to begin a brand-new school year! 💚

Today, our halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful first connections as we welcomed both our returning and new Prodigy families. Watching our students reconnect with old friends while new friendships began to blossom reminded us that learning starts with a strong sense of belonging.

In true Reggio Emilia spirit, we believe the environment is the “third teacher,” and today our classrooms came alive as children explored their new spaces, met their teachers, and began building relationships that will inspire a year of curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible teachers and staff for the countless hours spent preparing welcoming, beautiful learning environments for our children and families. Your passion and dedication made today such a special success! ❤️🍎

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our amazing community partners and vendors for sharing this special day with us:

•Mona’s Flowers
•Passion Projects
•Beauty Bombay
•Techie Kids
•Dancing Little Stars

And a delicious thank you to our wonderful food vendors:

•Bocaditos
• Amazonia

Your support helped make this event even more memorable for our families.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We are so excited for the adventures, discoveries, and memories that await during the 2026–2027 school year.

Here’s to a year of wonder, exploration, and growing together. Welcome to the Prodigy family! 🌱🦉💚

❤️ The Heart of Learning ❤️

At Prodigy Early Learning at Creekside, children don’t just learn about the human body—they investigate it with curiosity, creativity, and wonder.

We created our own heart specimens, Used
pipettes, loose parts, and visual references, our young researchers explored the intricate pathways that keep us alive. They observed, questioned, experimented, and made meaningful connections through hands-on discovery.

In the Reggio Emilia approach, we believe children are capable scientists. Their theories, questions, and discoveries guide the learning process, transforming everyday experiences into meaningful investigations.

✨ “What happens inside our bodies?”
✨ “Why are there different colored vessels?”
✨ “How does blood travel?”

These moments of inquiry are where authentic learning begins. By providing real materials and open-ended experiences, we inspire children to think critically, collaborate with peers, and develop a lifelong love of exploration.

Every observation is valued. Every question matters. Every child is a researcher.

🦉 Nature becomes a language of learning. 🌿🍃

At Prodigy, our little learners transformed simple treasures from nature into beautiful woodland owls, exploring creativity, problem-solving, and design through hands-on discovery. Each pinecone, leaf, twig, and piece of bark became an invitation to observe, imagine, and create.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we believe the environment is the “third teacher.” By working with natural materials, children develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them while expressing their unique ideas in meaningful ways. No two owls are alike—just like no two children are alike. 💚

Every creation tells a story, celebrates individuality, and reminds us that learning begins with curiosity.

🌲🦉 Nature inspires. Children imagine. Creativity takes flight.

🎨 The Hundred Languages of Childhood 🎨

In a Reggio Emilia-inspired classroom, every brushstroke, every color, and every smile tells a story. Today, our little artists explored painting on transparent surfaces, discovering how light, perspective, and creativity transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Rather than creating a perfect masterpiece, they embraced the joy of wondering, experimenting, and expressing their unique ideas. Their artwork became a conversation—a beautiful reminder that children communicate through a hundred different languages.

At Prodigy, we believe the process is just as meaningful as the product. 💛

“The child has a hundred languages, a hundred hands, a hundred thoughts, a hundred ways of thinking, playing, and creating.” – Loris Malaguzzi

🍕👩‍🍳 Culinary Lab at Prodigy! 👩‍🍳🍕

Our little chefs had an amazing time creating their own tortilla pizzas during today’s Culinary Lab! Using tortillas as their pizza crust, the children spread the sauce, sprinkled the cheese, and selected their favorite toppings, making each creation uniquely their own.

This hands-on experience was about so much more than making lunch. As the children measured, spread, sprinkled, and assembled their pizzas, they strengthened fine motor skills, practiced decision-making, explored sequencing, and expressed their creativity. These meaningful experiences help children build confidence while connecting learning to the real world.

At Prodigy, we believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in experiences that inspire curiosity, independence, and joyful discovery.

Today’s recipe was simple, delicious, and filled with smiles—proving that some of the best learning happens around the table! ❤️🍕
