Morgan Simmons - winning 1st in her class for steer
Logan Shoop - winning reserved champion medium weight lamb and 3 place honorable mention over all for lamb.

Florida State Fair Seminar is Sep. 18th
The species are split into two different sessions.
Registration is due by Sep. 15th
FFA meeting Monday 8/23 after school has been canceled! We will re schedule it soon!
FFA members showing breeding animals at Hilsbroough County Fair! Don’t forget the breeding animal seminar this Saturday 8/21 at 8:30am in the livestock barn.

It’s that time again! I appreciate anything that you are able to contribute to the Sumner AG classroom. I will be adding a few things here and there throughout the week as I continue to go through my classroom.
My middle school class will be starting a garden for the first time this year and the high school runs a weekly Dog Day Care, so if some items seem odd to you that may be why.

Hillsborough County Fair "All Breeding Animals Entry" opens up July 1st and closes September 1st.
This includes:
*Dairy
*Rabbit
*Poultry
*Goat
*Sheep
*Beef Cattle (non-market)
Breeding Animal Seminar will be August 21st @8:30am, Location TBD.

Our vet program is slowly wrapping the last week of school up with some fun.
Making dog toys for our daycare program and to donate to local shelters.
The students did a GREAT job! Some even had fun with the t-shirt scraps 😄
