Our Mustang Student of the Day today is Ivan in 6th grade! Ivan loves movies and grew a foot over the summer! He also represents UNITA House. He was nominated by his teacher, Mr. Meyer. He says this about Ivan:

"Ivan has been a great help to a new student to school. He has befriended him and made him feel very welcome."

Utah's new school nutrition rules ban specific synthetic food dyes and chemical additives from breakfast and lunch served in public schools starting with the 2026–2027 school year.

Today or tomorrow, your children will be bringing home a Permission Form that would allow your child's teacher to provide these food items in the classroom. Please send back this permission form to your child's teacher ASAP.

Our first Mustang Teacher of the Week this year is the great, wise and wonderful Mrs. Dimick. Mrs. Dimick teaches resource at Foothills. She is patient, kind and wonderful. Her love for students is obvious and she's been working hard to get ready this summer to teach like the talented pro she is. Foothills is so lucky to have Mrs. Dimick!

Being a Room Parent requires only occasional time throughout the school year. The best part is getting to spend a little extra time with your child in their classroom!
