BIG NEWS - NEW RIVERTON BASEBALL PITCHING COACH We are beyond excited to announce our new pitching coach at Riverton, Jeremy Berg. Jeremy and his wife, Michelle, live in Riverton with their two children, Britton (4) and Baylor (2). Before joining Riverton High School, Jeremy served as the pitching coach at SLCC. During his three years there, the pitching staff produced four All-Americans. In 2022, the staff led the nation in ERA, and in 2024, they ranked 4th. The 2023 team made history as the first SLCC squad to earn a JUCO World Series bid. Jeremy began his coaching career at SLCC from 2015-2017. From 2018-2021, Jeremy coached at Lone Peak High School. In 2019, the team finished as 6A runner-up, and he was named 6A Coach of the Year by the Utah Coaches Association. Jeremy is a graduate of High Point University, NC. He signed as an undrafted free agent in 2009, playing in the Angels organization. His first stop was with the Orem Owlz, where they won the Pioneer League Championship. In 2010, he was both a Frontier League All-Star and Texas League Pitcher of the Week. From 2011-2014, Jeremy played with the Salt Lake Bees, contributing to the last Bees team to reach the PCL finals. We are extremely excited to have Coach Berg and look forward to all the amazing things he brings to the table for our pitching staff !

I have the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Bees game this Sunday the 22nd, the last Bees game at Smiths Ballpark, and I want you to be there! I’m giving away 3 tickets to Sundays game. To enter:

SLCC Baseball makes history, heads to NJCAA College World Series - Salt Lake Community College Athletics The Salt Lake Community College baseball team has made history, qualifying for its first NJCAA College World Series in school history.

I have returned as Assistant Coach at SLCC. Current schedule through May:
