The EDGE Institute has published its first policy report entitled: Crisis at the Salton Sea: the Vital Role of Science. A group of dedicated UCR scientists, engineers, medical folks, and economists has spent two years studying what we know at the Sea and what we don't know. The report highlights areas of research that may be critical for figuring out how to save the Sea and make the lives of those living nearby better.
