The CBU ASL Club, in partnership with the Chemistry Department, hosted a Deaf Chemistry Fair for CSDR middle school students. The 35 students engaged in hands-on activities such as slime-making, life-sized bubbles, UV bracelets, and elephant toothpaste while communicating and connecting through sign language.
The fair created a fun, inclusive environment that encouraged both scientific exploration and social interaction, which allowed the opportunity for the deaf and hearing world to connect and immerse fostering community.
