Liberty Elementary PTA

Liberty welcomed back our graduating alumni at our annual Senior Walk. We celebrated college and careers and our seniors! Senior Zenaida Banuelos told us all about how she met her goals, and earned a FULL RIDE scholarship to UC Berkeley. Senior Daniella Ortega wrote an essay explaining what No Excuses means to her and won our $1000 Cynthia Aguirre Scholarship (this money was raised by our Eagles at their Cardboard Challenge)! Our sixth graders performed the Liberty Song with our seniors and even performed a student written production called, “If You Give an Eagle a Soar Slip.” We are proud of all of our Liberty Eagles and we hope to see our graduating alumni at our future Career Days! Congrats! Riverside Unified School District

Liberty’s 5th Annual Kindness Week is underway! Our Eagles are celebrating in style. Today they showed that we are “Tied Together in Kindness” and they wore their tie dye, hair ties, neck ties, and bow ties. Tomorrow we get to celebrate while wearing our PJs because, “Kindness is a Dream Come True!”

Santa and his elves were back at Liberty to help raise funds for the sixth grade Science Camp! Thank you to everyone who helped out and came out to support. Pictures will be delivered to classrooms by Friday!

Our Liberty Eagles had a fun Friday and are going to “Accomplish their Dreams” by staying drug free!

Liberty is “Committed to Our Futures” and “Looking Towards our Futures!” Between wearing their college colors and dressing as their future professions, our Eagles have shown they have a lot of spirit this Red Ribbon Week!

“Working Together for a Better Future!” Today our Eagles were twins to celebrate Red Rin on Week! Tomorrow don’t forget to wear your college gear!
