Our preschool artists explored 3D art with glue guns — learning how creativity grows when they’re trusted to take safe, supported risks. Each sculpture is a chance to problem‑solve, experiment, and use their pre-writing muscles.

Our kiddos had an absolute blast today exploring BIG body movements while creating even BIGGER art! From riding trikes across giant paper paths to rolling, sliding, pushing, pulling, and collaborating with friends—every moment was full of laughter, curiosity, and discovery.
Children got to naturally explore:
Trajectory Schema — riding, rolling, pushing, and watching wheels move across space
Transporting Schema — carrying materials, moving tools, and shifting items from place to place
Orientation Schema — lying down, leaning forward, changing body positions to explore from new angles
So much fun!!!

Celebrating Creativity!
You may notice that some artwork includes a child’s name, while others do not. This is intentional. We respect each child’s work and their creative process, and we never write on their artwork without their permission. For us, protecting the integrity of their creations is important.
Each creation is unique and meaningful to the child who made it — and we’re proud to celebrate them just as they are.
Today we set up a simple provocation for children to practice their scissor skills using ribbons, paper, and open-ended materials.
As they snipped, explored, and created, they were building important skills like hand strength, coordination, focus, and confidence — all through play.
Moments like these remind us that learning doesn’t have to be rushed. When children are given time, space, and inviting materials, beautiful learning happens naturally
Progressive no longer offers commercial auto insurance, what auto insurance are other school age centers using?
Today we explored, experimented, and PLAYED with light — and their discoveries were incredible.
By offering opportunities to interact with flashlights, a projector, shadows, reflections, and color, children build early foundations in scientific thinking. They test ideas, make predictions, observe cause and effect, and communicate what they notice.
Light play also encourages creativity, sensory exploration, problem-solving, collaboration, and language development. When children move their bodies to chase shadows or adjust materials to change the light, they're strengthening both cognitive and motor skills at the same time.
🔦💡 🕯
Fine motor play helps children strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers — the foundation for writing, cutting, and self-help skills!
Through play that involves grasping, pinching, and building, children develop coordination, focus, and confidence in their growing abilities.
Little hands at work, big skills in progress! Fine motor play helps kiddos build strength, control, and creativity one pinch and squeeze at a time!
