Here is the 6-month training syllabus:

Month 1: Branding, Marketing and Messaging
• Build your business’ foundation with a brand
• Who the heck are you?
• What is your mission statement / mantra?
• Who is your target audience?
• What is your look and feel? (Are you executing it effectively)
• What message are you sending?
• Are you and your message relevant? (Are you answering the questions the

y are asking?)
• Do you have a logo, headshot, and a slogan/tag line that attract? Month 2: Online Places Part I – Measuring and Increasing Your Online Findability (Socially and Otherwise)
• Can your audience/prospects find you online --- easily?
• What do they find about you?
• Are you present where they are (online)?
• Can you and your business be located on Google places?
• Do you have a Facebook business page with traction?
• Do you shine on LinkedIn?
• Do you have a personal and business profile on Yelp? It’s where the cool kids are getting listings. Month 3: Online Places Part II – Measuring and Increasing Your Online Findability (Socially and Otherwise)
• Get on Instaram yet? (You need to be)
• Have you learned to leverage Twitter?
• Can you be found on Yahoo for the 10’s of millions that still utilize that platform?
• How is your pinning on Pinterest going? Yes, Realtors® need to be on Pinterest.
• [BIG ONE] How powerful is your website??? (Sticky factor / calls to action / click-through rate / time on site / list-building, etc.) Month 4: Physical Places Part I – Would you win the Realtor® election in your community and sphere of influence?
• Do you have a geographical farm? (If not, real estate may just be a hobby)
• Do you know how to best pick a geographical farm?
• Are you taking advantage of E.D.D.M.? (Est. 1/3 the cost of direct mail)
• Are you tapping in to local business owners?
• Are you holding educational, local events?
• How often do you canvas your target communities? Sometimes you just need to smile and introduce yourself. Month 5: Physical Places Part II – Get some comfy shoes and lots of open house signs. You’ve got homes to list!
• Have you learned the art of building your business with open houses? (Ultimate leverage)
• Are your prospects sick of your face yet? If not, you haven’t done enough.
• Do you knock on the doors of your future clients? Do you have a reason to? Do you know what to say?
• Do you know the formula for guaranteed success when it comes to canvassing?
• Is your mindset right? (Super important)
• What are you handing them?
• Connect goals to your canvassing and door knocking. Tack your numbers and results. Month 6: Building and Managing Your Database, Following-up, Referrals, and Leveraging your Sphere of Influence
• Your database IS your business. So… how’s your business?
• Do you have a follow-up system for your clients, leads, past clients, and S.O.I.?
• How often do you “touch” your database and how do you “touch” them?
• Do you understand the power of being intentional about getting referrals from your database / S.O.I.?
• Do you “attract” constant and regular referral business?
