GSRC Lead Consultants engage with members of the campus community to develop and execute events for the enrichment of the graduate student community. This position is a Graduate Student Assistant (hourly; not union represented) at $30/hour (maximum 19.5 hours/week) with GSHIP and fee fellowship (non-resident tuition is NOT included).

The UCR Library Graduate Research Core Competencies Badge is designed to support graduate students at all stages of their research journey by building practical, transferable skills essential to scholarly work.
Participants develop strategies for:
•Effective citation management using tools like Zotero and Paperpile
•Scholarly communication — ORCID, researcher identity, and open access
•Responsible research data management and open data publishing
•Advanced literature review techniques including systematic and scoping reviews
•Publishing & sharing theses, dissertations, and research articles
•Graduation requirements — formatting, ProQuest, and Graduate Division workflows
Modules can be completed in any order, at your own pace. A badge is awarded upon completing all graded assignments.

UCR STEAM Academy 2026 is looking for Faculty, Postdocs, and Graduate Students to design and teach high-impact, interdisciplinary courses for Middle School students this summer!
Our goal is to use STEM as a tool for Social Good, using the UN's Sustainable Development Goals to solve real-world problems. We want instructors who can guide students through "productive struggle."
