One of our most beloved traditions continued today as the Class of 2026 left their mark in the concrete! ✍️ Since 1978, every graduating senior has signed their name into a concrete pad on campus—leaving behind a permanent piece of their story at WCS. Years later, alumni still come back to campus to find their signature and relive a small piece of their time here! 😊

🏀⚽🏐 🏈 Summer Sports Camps registration is now open! This year, families are welcome to invite friends and neighbors to join in the fun as camps are open to all students entering 5th–8th grade for the 2026–27 school year.

Each 4-day camp will take place on our beautiful Van Buren campus, where campers will learn from our varsity coaches and athletes in a fun, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment. The cost for each 4-day camp is $125 and includes a camp t-shirt along with a BBQ lunch on the final day.

We loved welcoming a group of alumni back to campus this week to speak life and encouragement over our seniors! They shared honest stories, practical wisdom, and reminders of God’s faithfulness as they’ve navigated college and life after high school. It was a meaningful full-circle moment and a beautiful reminder that our community doesn’t end at graduation—it continues for years to come.

We invite you to join us in celebrating WCDS computer teacher Virginia Smith, who has shared her love for students and her passion for teaching for 38 years! She has faithfully poured into generations of Royals and been a true blessing to our school community.

“Hop” on by for a sweet treat, say hello, or drop off a card/note as she prepares to “leap” into a new season of life. We are celebrating her during Open House at WCDS this Friday, May 1, from 6:30–8:30 pm.
