March for Science took place this past Saturday in Washington, DC. Many physicians shared their voices and participated in the event this weekend. This article not only outlines what went on at the March for Science, but also describes how it relates to medicine and why physicians felt it was important to show their support in today's environment. Physicians Make Themselves Heard at the March for Science As both march speakers and participants, physicians expressed concern for public health and research funding but also voiced hope for the beginning of a movement to elevate the role of science in society.
Good afternoon everyone! For tonight's event we will begin our shuttling services at 6:30 from Lot 15. If there are scheduling conflicts or you're unable to make it right at 6:30 we will have a couple late shuttles coming for you around 6:50. Please come dressed appropriately for an evening hike as it will get colder by the time we start leaving!

Last Friday, March 17, was Match Day for those going on to residency programs in the United States. This article describes highlights from this years record breaking match, with 43,000 applicants and over 31,000 positions offered.
