Get Ready for Some Recess Fun, Roadrunners!

Our amazing PTA is bringing a little extra excitement to the playground this week! We are so excited to give back to our hardworking students with a special treat during their break.

La Lotería at Recess!
When: This Tuesday
Where: Out on the playground during recess
What: We’ll be hosting games of Lotería (traditional Mexican Bingo) for all our Roadrunners to enjoy!

It’s going to be a fantastic day of community, culture, and of course prizes! We can’t wait to see those smiling faces and hear the first person shout "¡Lotería!"

A huge thank you to all our PTA members and volunteers who make these "Give Back" moments possible.

Mountain View PTA invites to out next Family Dining Night.

Parents, let’s be honest: your stove is tired of you, and you’re tired of deciding what’s for dinner. Come enjoy a meal that doesn’t require a sink full of soaking pans.

When: Tomorrow, March 4th
Time: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Yes, an 8-hour window.
Where: Raising Cane’s

To make sure our school actually gets the credit, you must tell the cashier, "I’m with Mountain View!" Say it loud, say it proud, or whisper it like a secret password. Just make sure they hear it. If you don't mention the school, a chicken loses its wings (not really, but the PTA loses the donation, which is arguably more tragic).

See you there! Come for the crinkle-cut fries, stay for the school pride. Thank you for turning your dinner plans into a win for our Roadrunners!

We are planning ahead for our Spring Book Fair and we need your help to make it a success! We are looking for RUSD-cleared volunteers to attend a quick, virtual finance training this Wednesday. Per PTA guidelines, we cannot hold the fair without members who are officially trained in general finance.

When: Wednesday, Jan 21 @ 5:00 PM
Where: Virtual via Zoom

Dear Mountain View Families,

The PTA is excited to invite you to our Open House on Thursday, March 20th! This event is a fantastic opportunity to explore your child’s classroom and experience firsthand all the wonderful learning and creativity happening here at Mountain View.

Date: Thursday, March 20th
Classroom Visits: 6:00 – 7:00 PM

In addition to visiting the classrooms, we encourage you to stop by our PTA Spring Book Fair, which will be open throughout Open House. For those who prefer a quieter time to browse, the Book Fair will open early at 5:30 PM.

We will also be selling Mountain View spirit wear and PTA memberships. Our PTA is here to support our Roadrunners and their families, and all proceeds go directly back to supporting our students.

We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the amazing work our Roadrunners have been doing!
