Bethel Christian Schools Full-service Christian school. K - 12, Preschool, Daycare We are not set up for special education at this time.

Bethel Christian Schools exists to educate children in the best ways possible so that they may become Godly adults who are an asset to their community. We start at age 30 months through Bethel Christian Preschool all of the way through 12th grade with an emphasis on STEAM education, plus extracurricular activities in sports and dance. Through varied study plans we are equipped for both college prep students and those who need extra help.

“Let Your Light Shine” recognition tickets are given to K-5 students caught in a random act of kindness when no one is looking. Teachers and staff can award students with these tickets for picking up trash, lending a helping hand on campus, or anything in between.

These tickets are placed in a raffle and a winner is chosen at random by Mrs. Baxter (Dean of Students) every month. Our August winner is Sean R (4th grade) who was recognized by Mrs. Hohenstein for being of great assistance to a peer in need. For his prize, Sean and one friend will receive a special lunch next week!

Give it up for Staff Member of the Week, Coach T/Mrs. Taylor ⭐️

Coach T has been with us at Bethel for 10 years. She is our assistant athletic coordinator who sends out weekly email blast about all the sports activities happening on campus and coordinates all things regarding our sports teams at BCS. She is dedicated to her athletes’ success both on and off the field/court/diamond.

She finds Naomi’s story in the Bible inspiring for her profound honesty in her grief and resilience in the face of severe loss.

Her favorite sports teams are the Packers & Angels. And like any true sports fan, her favorite movie is Remember the Titans.

2025-2026 Valedictorian Aven Baxter was accepted into the pre-radiology sciences program at California Baptist University with hopes of becoming a diagnostic medical sonographer. At only 16 years old, she will be attending CBU as a sophomore in the fall of 2026.

Last year, this well-rounded student was a recipient of CIF’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award and BCS’s Scholar-Athlete award. However, Aven’s achievements extended beyond the classroom.

She began dancing for Bethel’s dance department in fifth grade. Mom says, “She’s been dancing since she could walk.” In 2023, Aven competed in the International Baton Twirling Championship & Nations Cup in Liverpool, England.

Bethel Christian Schools is proud to be part of her story. Good luck, Aven! 🦁

Say “hello” to our staff member of the week, Mr. Markov!

Mr. Markov is entering his fourth year as a teacher at Bethel Christian Schools. His favorite subject in school was English and he enjoys playing volleyball multiple times a week.

His favorite food is sushi with a side of grape Fanta. One of his hidden talents is he can catch small food items in his mouth like a seal 🦭

This year he has taken on the elective of Zoology! I can’t wait to see the great things he teaches our students!

Mrs. Pillow has been on staff at Bethel for almost 27 years, bringing joy to our students and colleagues. Her favorite day of the week is Thursdays because she loves worshiping with her class!

Fun facts:
• her favorite sports team is the Chicago Bears 🐻
