On April 16, 2026, Chemawa AVID’s program celebrated our AVID Write Off and Student Stand-Out winners at the ARC AVID Celebration Ceremony held at UC Riverside. We are so proud of these ladies! Congratulations to:

We are ready to SNAP INTO TESTING MODE with plenty of prizes to give out during testing!

And the wins just keep on coming! Congratulations to our 8th grade boys for winning 1st place in the RUSD Middle Soccer Tournament! These boys fought hard with a 2-1 win over Central in the morning and then going 0-0 against Gage that led to PKs. Our Cougars came out victorious 8-7 in penalty kicks. Thank you to our amazing coaches for their dedication to this program!

Congratulations to our 8th grade girls for winning both of their games today at the 8th Grade Soccer Tournament! This team pushed through both games with only having 8 players and still came out on top 🏆

SNAP INTO TESTING MODE! Our Academic Pep Rally is coming up next Friday to kick off state testing and we will have a spirit week to get ourselves pumped up!

Friday: Pep Rally day - wear anything LEGO related or bright colors!
