Welcome to Riverside Archery's JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Developement) program.

Welcome to the Riverside Archery JOAD program (Junior Olympic Archery Development). We give young archers the skills that will make them enthusiastic participants in the sport of archery with an emphasis on preparing the students for archery competition. The JOAD program is a club system developed by USA Archery http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Archery and encompasses all forms of Archery Bare Bow/Olympic Recurve & all compound styles.

Tonight was barebow night where the compound archers all opted to try barebow. They used Tennis balls competing for candy bars. Coach Steve would have been very happy at the cult like influence the barebow has with the kids 😄

We saw his doctor. Turns out he has a small fracture near his elbow. The pain he was feeling when he released was the bone being pulled apart. X rays show that the healing process has already started and the cast is just precautionary. He'll likely be out about a month.
