Riverside Arts Magnet Ramona HS

Cole Morgan has spent his entire high school career mastering the art of Theatre Tech, rigging lights, commanding boards, and building worlds from the ground up. As a Silver Theatre Tech and Bronze Dance Magnet Member, Cole has proven that true artistry lives both behind the curtain and on the floor. Now, he trades the stage for another calling, enlisting in the military, carrying the discipline, teamwork, and grit the arts have forged in him.

Audrey Salazar is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Ceramics. She will be attending Cal Baptist University, majoring in Mathematics and Education. Audrey says, “My experience at Ramona High School in the Riverside Arts Magnet has been nothing but absolutely amazing!”

Oriett Torres is a Bronze Magnet Member in Theatre, Theatre Tech & Vocal Music. Next year, Oriett will be attending University of Stirling, Scotland and majoring in Film & English. Oriett is grateful to the Riverside Arts Magnet program for giving her many opportunities to learn and collaborate with others.

Mia Henwood is a Bronze Magnet Member in Theatre, acting in Hamlet and The Musical Variety Showcase. Next year, Mia will be attending RCC and majoring in Physics & Forensic Science.

Cindy Phan is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art. Next year, Cindy will be attending RCC and majoring in Fine Arts. Cindy says, “My experience in the Riverside Arts Magnet has been extraordinary in being able to expand my knowledge in the art world and make friends who enjoy the same interests as me.”

Evelyne Plantillas is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art. Next year, Evelyne will be attending RCC and majoring in Illustration. Evelyne says, “My experience in the Riverside Arts Magnet has given me so many friends and people who I’ll never forget and people who are just as weird as me.”

Ixabela Whitlock is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art. Next year, Ixabela will be attending RCC and majoring in Nursing. Ixabela says, “It was such a welcoming experience being in the Riverside Arts Magnet! I loved all of our arts field trips and Mr. Banister was awesome!”

Lillian McIntosh is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art. Next year, Lillian will be attending RCC and is undecided in her major. Lillian says, “My experience in the Riverside Arts Magnet was excellent, as it brought me so many new opportunities and gave me fun challenges to overcome within the Magnet badge achievements!”

Linzay Tampa is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art & Ceramics. Next year, Mia will be attending RCC and majoring in Art History. Linzay says, “Being in the Riverside Arts Magnet has led me to so many wonderful memories and has taught me that there are many paths in the art world worth exploring!”

Mia Medina is a Visual Arts Magnet Member in Studio Art. Next year, Mia will be attending RCC and majoring in Nursing. Mia says, “It was an amazing experience being in the Riverside Arts Magnet, and being in a class of Studio Artists who had similar interests. I loved all the arts field trips we took this year!”
