What a fantastic day of fun, teamwork, and school spirit at the Annual Woodcrest Christian Day School Sports Day! ๐โโ๏ธ๐
๐
Students in grades 3โ6 competed in footraces, throwing contests, obstacle courses, long distance events, the 100-meter dash, and so much more. From the starting line to the finish, our Royals showed determination, encouragement, and great sportsmanship.
One of the best parts of the day was seeing parents on campus cheering on all of our students and celebrating each accomplishment together. It was a joy to watch our Royals support and encourage one another throughout the day.
What a wonderful way to wrap up an amazing school year! Go Royals! ๐๐

๐Thank you to the Garcia Family & Seasonal Sipz for blessing our teachers on campus with freshly squeezed lemonade during Teachers Appreciation Week!
Not only was the lemonade refreshing it reminds us of our citrus heritage in the Inland Empire and the sweet reminder of God's goodness in blessing our school and teachers and staff who pour into our students each day.
๐**Thank you WCDS teachers and staff**๐

Our first graders have been on an exciting journey through their butterfly unit! ๐ฆ Students explored the incredible life cycle of a butterflyโfrom caterpillar to chrysalis to butterflyโand even had the opportunity to witness this amazing transformation firsthand in our classroom butterfly garden.
Through this hands-on experience, students discovered the beauty, detail, and care God shows in all of His creation. As we watched the butterflies grow and change, we were reminded that God is always at work in us tooโshaping, growing, and transforming our hearts.
We reflected on 2 Corinthians 5:17: โIf anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!โ This powerful truth helped students connect the butterflyโs transformation to the new life we have in Christ.
To celebrate all they learned, we ended our unit with a special butterfly releaseโsuch a joyful and meaningful moment for our first graders! ๐ฟโจ
