Unfortunately we will need to cancel "Healthy Starts Wellness Night" scheduled for this Thursday 9/28 due to a few vendors pulling out last minute. We will reschedule the event in March. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Many families were inquiring about Waddington gear. Our school apparel store has been reopened for the month of October. If you pick school delivery, shipping is free and your order will arrive when the store closes.

The P T A is asking for donations of candy, other Halloween goodies and decorations for the Haunted Hallway this year. The monster will be located in the front entrance you can feed your donations to him. Thanks for your help.

EPSD is participating in a comprehensive review of the special education services provided to students with disabilities. The evaluation is being conducted by the American Institutes for Research (AIR). The purpose of this survey is to provide parents of students with disabilities with the opportunity to express their views on procedures and practices that influence teaching and learning for students eligible for special education in EPSD schools. When answering questions, we please ask that you reflect on your experience during the 2022-2023 school year.

Introducing our safety patrol 2023-24!

Waddington’s school librarian, Pam Watson, passed away this week after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Pam has worked in the district since 1999, both at Oldham and here at Waddington. She was a Townie having raised her two sons in Riverside and is survived by them and her husband Jim, who is our school custodian. She will be missed by our school community.

Our thoughts are with Pam, her husband,
Jim, and their family at this difficult time.

After careful consideration, the district will close schools early tomorrow, Thursday September 7, 2023.

Students will have access to breakfast and lunch and will receive three hours of instruction.

High School: 10:30AM dismissal

Middle School: 11:15AM dismissal

Elementary: 12:00 PM dismissal

No afternoon ELC classes

We are coordinating bussing schedules to support the change in time. Please be patient as bussing times will need to accommodate the early dismissal.

We will continue to monitor temperatures for Friday and will communicate if any additional changes to the schedule.

After a successful first week for grades 1-5, we can’t wait to welcome our newest Wizards!

We can’t wait to welcome grades 1-5 tomorrow! Here are a few reminders/notes:

Tomorrow is Waddington Wednesday- please wear your blue and white to kick off the new year!

Charge those chromebooks tonight and remember to pack them. New clever badges will be available tomorrow.

Doors open at 8:35 and school begins at 8:40.

Busses may run late for the first few days as we make sure all students are on the correct bus. We ask for your patience during this time.

Tomorrow’s lunch choices are: Swedish meatballs, mozzarella sticks or Italian grinder.

K students who have scheduled screenings can go to the door that has been assigned to enter the building.

Our Waddington apparel store is open for ordering. At checkout, you can choose school delivery to have it delivered to Waddington for free.
