📅 Student Schedules Available Beginning August 17! 📚

The countdown to a new school year is on! Student schedules for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in the OnCourse Parent Portal starting Monday, August 17, 2026.

Before schedules can be viewed, please complete the required annual forms in OnCourse, including:
✅ Technology & Chromebook Forms
✅ Student Handbook Acknowledgement
✅ Health/Medical Information Form
✅ Free & Reduced Lunch Application
✅ Walking Trips Form
✅ Photo & Information Release Forms
✅ FAFSA Acknowledgement/Waiver (High School Families)

A few important reminders:
📧 Guardian email changes must be made through Central Registration.
🏠 Mailing address changes must also be completed through Central Registration.
📱 Need to update phone numbers, emergency contacts, or pick-up permissions? Those can be completed directly in the Parent Portal. Please allow 48–72 hours for updates to appear.

Completing these forms now will ensure a smooth start to the school year and allow you to access your child's schedule as soon as it becomes available.

Supply List Sunday! Please find your school below:

High School Supply List Information 2026-2027
Due to the varied needs of different departments, grade levels, and teachers at the high school level, creating a singular and comprehensive supply list is challenging. However, if you want to start purchasing supplies for your high school student's first week of school, these generic items should work for most schedules.
1 or 2 binders
1 or 2 1-subject notebooks (for elective classes)
Two 3-subject or 5-subject notebooks (for core classes)
pencils, pens, erasers, etc.
Since all students will be issued a 1:1 personal Chromebook they take home each evening within the first week, this should be sufficient to start. You may also choose to wait until after the first day to determine what is needed.

Mark your calendars, Riverside Ram Fam! 🐏💚

📅 When: Monday, August 31st at 1:30 PM
📍 Where: In front of the Preschool Building on Grant Street

This is a quick, low-key visit where your little one (and you!) can meet their teacher and peek inside the classroom before the big first day. It's the perfect way to ease those first-day jitters! 🎒✨

🎈 What to bring:
🛏️ Nap mat (preferred), or a crib sheet & blanket
✏️ School supplies
👕 A change of clothes
🚼 Diapers or pull-ups, if needed (potty training before school starts is encouraged!)

💡 Please note: Back to School Night is Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00 PM, where you'll get all the details on classroom routines, schedules, and how to support your child's success this year.

💻🐏 Day Two of Freshmen Orientation at Riverside High School!

Our newest Rams continued preparing for a successful start to high school during Day Two of Freshmen Orientation!

Students received their Chromebooks and completed the important technology setup needed for the school year, including logging into their school accounts, ParentSquare, OnCourse, and Securly Pass. These essential tools will help students stay connected, organized, and ready for learning from day one.

Students also completed a personal goals activity, encouraging them to think about what they hope to accomplish during their freshman year both inside and outside the classroom. They also participated in a mental health presentation that highlighted the importance of self-care, building resilience, and knowing where to turn for support throughout their high school journey.

The day concluded with a pizza party and an engaging discussion with Assistant Principal and Activities Director Mrs. Taylor Trost, who answered students' questions, shared ways to get involved in the many clubs, activities, and events at Riverside High School, and helped our newest Rams feel even more confident and excited for the start of the school year.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2030 on the first day of school and can't wait to see all they accomplish this year. Welcome to the Ram Family! ❤️🖤
