CBU Worship We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in worship arts and leadership.

The Worship Arts Division of the School of Performing Arts at California Baptist University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in worship and provides resources for churches and worship leaders across the country. The Worship Arts division of the Collinsworth School of Performing Arts at California Baptist University is committed to preparing men and women for a lifetime of service in music

and worship leadership for the glory of God, the building up of his church, and the good of the world. Our Bachelor of Arts in Music for Worship Arts & Ministry is designed to fully equip the 21st century worship leader for success in the highly eclectic worship culture of the modern evangelical church. Throughout the program, students lead consistently in churches and weekly CBU chapels, and also complete a summer internship in a church worship ministry. The Master of Arts in Worship Arts provides deep, yet practical training for worship leaders in the areas of worship theology, pastoral leadership, musical competence, and platform effectiveness. With a hybrid “online-intensive” format that can be completed in as quickly as one year, this fully accredited degree represents an accessible and economical option for current worship leaders/pastors to deepen their ministry impact while laying the foundation for a potential career in academia.
