Happy National 👄🦻🎧 SLP Day!!! Hats off to all Speech Language Pathologists! AND Saturday was our infamous at the CBU Clinical Education Center!!.

We celebrated by hosting our annual “Family Day “at the CBU Clinical Education Center with our second-year graduate studies students earning clinical hours and competencies through the administration of assessments and treatment on family and friends in clinical areas like swallowing, hearing, cognition, fluency, voice, and so much more !!!

💐Happy Mother’s Day🌸!! As we celebrate Mother’s Day, our CBU SLP family wishes to honor mothers and also give thanks for all the women in our lives who have inspired, encouraged, supported and loved us.

CBU Spring Career & Internship Fair
(Connects students and alumni with employers offering internships, part-time roles, and full-time positions across a variety of industries.)

•Time: 1:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
•Location: Van Dyne Gym

Education Career Fair (School-based/ pediatric-focused SLP opportunities)
•Date: March 19
•Time: 3:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
•Location: Van Dyne Gym

Healthcare Career Fair (Private practice/Medical SLP opportunities)
•Date: April 7
•Time: 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
•Location: HSC

Tips:
•  Dress for success – think “future SLP colleague,” not “rolled out of practicum at 7 a.m.” 👔👗
•  Bring a polished resume and be ready with your best “evidence-based” handshake 🤝
•  Practice your “elevator pitch” so you don’t get tongue-tied… leave that to your phonology clients. LOL 😉
