And that's a wrap on the SAR Academy 2025–26 school year!

Today, our annual last-day-of-school countdown got a championship upgrade as students, faculty, and staff came to school in New York Knicks colors and took part in SAR’s very own Knicks Championship Parade. The energy was epic!

We celebrated an amazing year, wished America a happy 250th, thanked our incredible staff, and said farewell to the students and teachers whose SAR journeys are coming to an end. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us via livestream. 💙🧡🏀

Now it’s time for summer! ☀️ Have an amazing break, and we’ll see you in September!

SAR Academy and High School showed up strong at the Israel Day on Fifth Parade!

Students, faculty, and staff marched together in support of Israel and in celebration of this year’s theme: “Proud Americans, Proud Zionists.” 🇮🇱🇺🇸

Singing and dancing all the way up Fifth Avenue, SAR students brought the ruach to the parade route, uplifted by an incredible turnout on the sidelines!

We are grateful to our community and lay leaders, including New York State Assemblymember and New York City Councilmember , for their steadfast support of Israel and our community.

Thank you to the parade organizers and the NYPD for ensuring a smooth, safe, and super memorable day celebrating Israel 💙

Wow! What a night! 🎨🥁🎶✨

SAR Academy was transformed into a vibrant celebration of student creativity at our Schoolwide Interactive Arts Festival! Families explored incredible student-produced exhibits featuring drawing, painting, digital photography, ceramics, fiber art, film, poetry, music, and so much more. From hands-on art, gardening, and writing activities to fantastic performances by our students in grades 3-5 and the Middle School band, the school was filled with creativity, excitement, and joy.

We are beyond proud of our students for sharing their imagination and talents, and grateful to our amazing Arts Faculty and ELC ARTS Sparks Team for making the evening unforgettable. A huge THANK YOU to our families for showing up with such enthusiasm and support, your encouragement makes experiences like this so special for our students!

Join us for an evening of film and conversation next Tuesday, May 26, as we screen Centered: Joe Lieberman, a documentary exploring the life and legacy of Sen. Joe Lieberman z"l and his model of principled leadership.

Following the film, we are honored to welcome Congressman Ritchie Torres and Hadassah Lieberman for a special conversation reflecting on Senator Lieberman’s enduring impact on public life, leadership, and moral courage.

The series continues on June 4 with Looking Up, the inspiring story of Eitan Armon’s climb in the face of vision loss, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Elena Neuman.
