October is the Month of the Rosary!

In honor of this special month, our Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten Crusaders made their very own decade rosaries this week! Students learned about the importance of the Rosary and how we can use it to grow closer to Jesus and Mary. 💙🙏

These special rosaries will help our littlest Crusaders participate in praying a decade of the Rosary each morning during our school announcements!

What a beautiful way to grow in faith, one Hail Mary at a time!

Third grade celebrated Our Lady of the Rosary’s feast day today by making our own class paper chain rosary! Each chain has the name of a student or a special intention the class would like to pray for all year! Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

Calling all SMA alumni! 💙We can’t wait to welcome you back at the SMA Fair!

Be sure to stop by the Parish/Spirit Booth to update your contact information, grab an SMA alumni sticker to wear proudly, and enter our special alumni drawing. At the end of the fair, we’ll select two winners, and each winner will receive two tickets to the SMA Crawfish Cook-Off! 🎟️🦞

Come say hello, reconnect with old friends, and show your Crusader pride. Once a Crusader, always a Crusader!

Our Little Crusaders are continuing to learn about community helpers! We had a special visit from Dr.Peyton 🥼 and learned that going to the doctor doesn’t have to be scary! We talked about how doctors help keep us healthy, happy, and strong! 💪

We even got to use a stethoscope to listen to our “patients” heartbeat and breathing 🩺

Thank you, Dr. Peyton, for taking the time to visit us and make learning about community helpers so much fun! 👨‍⚕️✨

Our Little Crusaders celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, in a special way today! 🐾💙💛

Students brought their favorite stuffed animals to school and had them blessed by Father Lee in honor of St. Francis and his love for all of God’s creation. What a sweet way to celebrate this special feast day! 🐶🐱🧸

We hope to see everyone Monday at 6pm with their real pet to receive a special blessing!
