🎙️ Podcast Guests Wanted! 🎙️

Our Casting Crusaders podcast is giving our middle school students the opportunity to learn, create, and make some pretty memorable experiences along the way!

Students will meet to plan and write interview questions, host our podcast interviews, and learn how to edit the finished video. They’re getting hands-on experience with communication, teamwork, creativity, public speaking, and media production!

🎶 Students are also working on something extra special—creating a completely original jingle for our morning announcements and podcast using GarageBand on their iPads! From choosing sounds to arranging their own music, they are building something that will truly belong to our school.

Last week we celebrated a very special school mass as we consecrated St. Matthew the Apostle School to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We were all reminded of Jesus’ great love for us, and committed ourselves to giving all we have to Jesus. This special mass was an extension of our Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans and New Orleans Catholic Schools consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus earlier this summer.

Our 2026–2027 Student Council! 💙🎉

Homeroom and grade-level representatives were elected today, and we are so excited for this group! We can’t wait to watch these middle schoolers work together, share their ideas, and help make our school an even more special and fun place to be! 💙
