What a GREAT day on campus! We loved seeing our Patriots back in the halls, reconnecting with friends, meeting teachers, visiting classrooms, and getting ready for an incredible new school year! 🏫✨

From big smiles and new school supplies to “First Day” shades and lots of excitement, our halls are officially filled with the energy of a brand-new school year! 🥰

🚗🚌LOWER SCHOOL DISMISSAL PROCEDURES: 🚗🚌
During dismissal, parents with multiple children should pick up their children at their YOUNGEST CHILD'S DISMISSAL LOCATION at the OLDEST SIBLING'S DISMISSAL TIME. Do not enter the car line until the designated time of the oldest sibling's dismissal time. Younger siblings will remain inside the building until the oldest sibling's dismissal time.
-The office needs to be informed before 12:00 p.m. of any change to transportation or after care.
-Any student not picked up by 3:25 pm will be brought to aftercare and will be charged.
-The speed limit in school driveways is 2 mph.
- WHEN EXITING THE CAR LINE ONTO JEFFERSON HIGHWAY, PLEASE TURN RIGHT TO KEEP TRAFFIC FLOWING.
-PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE DESIGNATED TIMES. DO NOT PARK ON JEFFERSON HWY AS IT IS AGAINST THE LAW.
*REMINDER: STATE LAW PROHIBITS CELL PHONE USE IN A SCHOOL ZONE.
- T2 & Pre-K2 dismissal is from 2:30-3:05. Parents should park at the Marmandie Ave. ELC door entrance. A staff member will bring out your child to you. NO PARENTS are allowed to enter the building. Students without an older sibling must be picked up before 3:05 to avoid interfering with the dismissal of other grade levels.

- Pre-K3, Pre-K4, & Kindergarten dismissal is from 2:45-3:05. Students should be picked up in the circle driveway by the ELC building. Students without an older sibling must be picked up before 3:05 to avoid interfering with the dismissal of other grade levels.

-1st & 2nd grade dismissal is from 2:45-3:05. Students should be picked up in front of the main building on Madelyn Lane in the supervised section of the driveway. Students without an older sibling must be picked up before 3:05 to avoid interfering with the dismissal of other grade levels.

3rd & -4th grade dismissal is from 3:05-3:25. Students (who do not get picked up at a sibling location) should be picked up on Marmandie Street in the gym parking lot. Please drive down Marmandie Street to the last set of gym doors. Do not arrive before 3:05 as we need to dismiss our younger students first. You will be asked to re-enter the line if you arrive before your pick-up time. Students should be picked up by 3:25.

-5th & 6th grade dismissal is from 3:10-3:25. students will be picked up in front of the main building in the supervised section of the driveway. Students should be picked up by 3:25.

JCCS uses a company called PaySchools Central for student lunch accounts. Students must have funds loaded to their lunch account and their school ID to be able to purchase school lunch.
Please click the link below for information on how to set up your child's lunch account and add money to it. Your child's Unique ID number will be needed to set up your PaySchools account. Unique ID numbers can be found in Portal. Log into Portal - click on Portal - click on School - click on Demographics - scroll to the bottom. 🍗JCCS: Please join us on Wednesday, July 22nd for JCCS Day / Night at Raising Cane’s in Elmwood. It’s a great time to take the night off from cooking and help raise money for our Christmas in July fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child shipping fund. Just mention that you are supporting the John Curtis Christian School Operation Christmas Child. You can place your order over the phone, but online orders are not allowed for the fundraiser. SPREAD THE WORD and we’ll see you all there!

Items and monetary donations are being accepted throughout the month of July at the high school campus.
