Practice makes perfect! Mrs. Reckamp has been drumming up something pretty cool with our eighth graders this year—bucket drumming! Percussion takes a lot of hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and dexterity to pull off, and we couldn’t be more proud of our Bearcats. What a perfectly energetic way to lead us into this week’s Walkathon!

Our new STEAM Lab is up and running!

This school year brought us a newly designed lab space and a brand-new teacher for our Bearcats to learn and create with. We are so grateful for this open, creative space where Miss Rios can lead our students through all sorts of mathematical, scientific, and artistic projects.

We can’t wait to see all the creativity, curiosity, and discovery that happens in our STEAM Lab this year!

October is just around the corner, and you know what that means, Bearcats! It’s WALK-A-THON season!

Last Friday we came together as a community to kick off the journey toward another successful Walk-a-thon. This year’s theme? Miles of Smiles! 😊

Every Bearcat has their own personal goal and an opportunity to help raise funds for our beloved school. Ready to join the journey? Visit the link in our bio to contribute directly to Walk-a-thon, or ask the Bearcat in your life how you can get involved!
Let’s make this year’s Walk-a-thon full of miles, smiles, and Bearcat spirit!

Our 5th grade mathematicians in Mrs. Mantucca’s WIN Math class teamed up for some serious word problem solving!

Students first tackled each problem independently, then partnered up to compare answers, discuss strategies, and check their work. Along the way, they discovered that there can be multiple ways to solve the same problem and learned new strategies from one another.

WIN Math is all about building strong problem-solving skills through collaboration and mathematical thinking. It’s mathematicians learning from mathemetians!

Bearcats Under the Lights was a great night of celebrating fall sports, school spirit, and Bearcat pride!

Our St. Luke community came together at Keystone Park to cheer on our soccer and cross country athletes, enjoy some pizza and activities, and celebrate the start of another great fall season. We are so proud of our athletes and grateful to everyone who came out to support them.

Go, Bearcats!

Yesterday, our 8th Graders took on Iron Oaks! From navigating challenging courses to encouraging one another along the way, our students put their teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills into action.

It was a day full of challenges, growth, and plenty of opportunities to step outside their comfort zones. We’re proud of the way our students supported one another.
