A new school year, a fresh start, and our SVF community gathered in prayer. 🙏 We were blessed to celebrate our first school Mass of the year and reflect on the Holy Spirit, always there to guide and help us along the way.

⚽️ Soccer season is officially underway at SVF!

Today, our soccer fields were full of energy as our athletes took the field for their first practices of the season. The 3rd & 4th graders were getting to work and they weren’t the only ones! Teams across our school were out practicing and getting ready for a great season.

🤩 One of the best parts of playing at SVF is we have a soccer field right here on our school grounds. 🙌 Our students can step out of the school doors and onto their own field to practice, play, and build their skills - all as part of their school experience.

Join St. Vincent Ferrer School for our annual fundraiser on Friday, October 30 at Elmcrest Banquets!

This year, we’re honored to recognize SVF Class of ’79 alumnus & Elmwood Park Chief of Police Andrew Hock for 36 years of service to our community.

Students were welcomed back in true Friar spirit today at our Back to School Pep Rally! 🎉

The energy was high as teachers rallied their classrooms for some grade vs. grade Teacher Trivia! 🙌 There were big cheers & plenty of laughs, as our students showed just how much they know their teachers.

Want to help make the first day of school even more magical?!

🌈Join Parents Club for CHALK THE WALK tonight 8/19 @ 5:30pm on the SVF playground to decorate the blacktop & sidewalks leading into the school with encouraging words for our friars!

Our students faces light up when they see all of the colorful pictures on the first day of school all thanks to their SVF families. Come tonight and be a part of this beloved tradition!
