UWRF Beef Management Team

The UWRF Beef Management Team is a professional group focusing on building tomorrow's beef industry leaders.

We strive to provide our members with hands-on experience as well as career building opportunities such as assisting with the St. Croix Valley Bull Test, networking with industry leaders, and the management of the UWRF beef cattle herd. We work alongside the Mann Valley Farm managers the team to implement our genetic plan, make mating decisions, select which animals to sell, and other management d

riven experiences. As a whole we decided to focus the herd more towards a seedstock type operation, currently working towards a herd consisting of 30 purebred Angus females and 30 purebred Hereford females.

As this year comes to an end, we are excited to welcome a new PR Chair who will be taking over our social media, along with a new officer team ready to lead BMT into another successful year! 🤍

We are so thankful for the memories, growth, and accomplishments this team has shared, and we can’t wait to see where the next group of leaders takes us. Their passion, ideas, and dedication will continue to help this team grow stronger and better than ever.

What an incredible night celebrating our BMT Banquet!

This year was filled with hard work, laughs, growth, friendships, and so many unforgettable memories. We are so proud of everything this team accomplished together, and none of it would have been possible without every member who showed up, worked hard, and made this year so special.

Thank you for the memories, the support, and all the moments that made this team feel like family. From the early weigh ins to trips and late nights, this year is one we will always remember.

We are already looking forward to next year and all the new opportunities, memories, and successes ahead with this amazing group of people. Here’s to another great year of BMT!
