Why did you choose teaching? I chose teaching as a profession because I think that students and education are extremely important. I want to make a positive influence in students’ lives by providing them with an incredible education. I specifically chose Spanish because I love how a language can connect people. I started learning Spanish in 1st grade and absolutely love the opportunities it has given me. I want to pass this skill on to students along with a love for learning!

Interests/Hobbies: I love sports! I grew up doing gymnastics, volleyball, swim & dive, and track. I was a pole vaulter at UW River Falls. I love athletics, whether I am competing, coaching, or cheering! I also enjoy being outside. I love going camping and hiking with my fiance and exploring national parks. I also like being on the lake whether that's fishing, swimming, or cruising around on a boat. My fiance and I got a sundancer sailboat this summer that we have been working on getting better at sailing. Recently I have been getting back into sewing with small projects and fixing thrifted clothes.

Why did you choose teaching? I love working with kids - they bring humor and fun to every situation. Seeing them grow and learn is the most rewarding feeling ever.

Interests/Hobbies: I love reading, podcasts, and going for walks. I’ve also recently started playing golf and pickleball for fun.

Why did you choose teaching? I get to play for a living! I love using play to make changes in a child’s life. Some are small and some significant but they all make their lives better. It is truly the best profession.

Interests/Hobbies: I love reading a good book, spending time outside (as long as it’s not freezing!), and spending time with friends and family. We spend a lot of our time cheering on our boys at their sporting events, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m also passionate about making sure all kids have the opportunity to play and spend time supporting adaptive sports in the area.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, families, and community that have given so much to our own family.

New resource at RFHS: The Wildcat Network!🐾

The Wildcat Network is a free grab-and-go snack resource available to all RFHS students!

When: Weekdays from 2:55 to 3:15 p.m.
Where: In the staff lounge
What: Fresh fruit, granola bars, cheese sticks, and other healthy snacks

Students who wish to use this resource regularly simply need to submit a referral form to the Student Services office.

This program is built on a collaborative effort and support from RFHS staff, student, community volunteers, local partners, and Our Neighbor's Place (ONP), who received a $70,000 grant.

Our mission is to promote dignity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring no Wildcat's basic needs go unmet, so every student can focus on learning without worry.
