A year ago today P3i pushed out into the world. I’ve been anticipating this date with a ton of reflection and a whole lot of gratitude. In a year’s time, I doubted, feared, cried, and second-guessed more than ever but in the same breath, I also had never prayed harder, hoped more, been more humbled nor appreciated the tiniest, little glimmers of hope and God winks more. Each little glimmer (and sometimes they were super tiny) brought me so much relief and hope. That I could do this. We (my sweet, little fam and I) could do this.
I relied heavily on my family, friends, and mentors. I mean heavily. And they were so there for me. I hope I can pay it forward and mentor, model, repay, shed light, and love like they’ve all done for me. Thank you and I love you.
I don’t want to look back in five years time and think, ‘We could have been magnificent, but I was afraid.’ In five years I want to tell of how fear tried to cheat me out of the best thing in life, and I didn’t let it.’ - Unknown
I want to look back at the end of this year and say, ‘God knew exactly what He was doing. His plans are indeed greater than mine.’ - Joena Sandiego
Look at you. Out here. Making it. Figuring things out as you go. Pushing through fear. Pushing through anxiety. Learning from your mistakes. It’s not easy. It’s not always fun. It doesn’t always feel like you’re making progress. But you’re doing it. -
Last year, same month. When you thought you can’t. Look at you, you’re here. Still trying and fighting. Conquering those doubts and fears. You have grown so much. Thank you for trying and fighting, beautiful human. Even if it’s just a tiny spark of hope. - Unknown
