A huge thank you to CF Industries for the generous grant opportunity that allowed Mrs. Terris & Mrs. King’s 3rd grade & Mrs. Weishaar’s 4th grade students to visit Blue Zoo in Spokane!
This exciting field trip gave students the chance to expand their learning through hands-on experiences with both marine and fresh water animals. From observing unique species up close to the interactive exhibits, students had a fun and unforgettable day!

Toothsavers is coming to RGS on Wednesday, June 3rd. Toothsavers provides preventative oral health care services to children including oral health screenings, sealants, and fluoride application, all during school hours! All services are provided by a gentle and experienced registered dental hygienist.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an optional service and students will ONLY be seen if a consent form was filled out by a parent/guardian.

We are excited to celebrate our annual Field Day on Friday, June 5th! All TK-5th grade students will enjoy lunch outside, followed by a variety of fun outdoor activities, beginning at 11:45am.

The forecast looks warn, and there will be some water activities. To help create a safe and enjoyable day for everyone, please review the following reminders:
-No swimsuits allowed
-Sunscreen may be brought, but students must apply it themselves and may not share with others
-A water bottle would be helpful
-A change of clothes and/or a towel is allowed

A big thank you to Clearway for hosting Mrs. L’s 2nd grade class for an awesome site visit and tour! Students had the opportunity to learn about wind turbines and even got to look inside one!
What an amazing experience!

What a fantastic evening at the 5th-12th grade band concert last week! We are so proud of our 5th grade beginning band for their dedication and courage to perform in front of an audience. It was great to see how much they have learned and grown this year!

A big thank you to our band director, Mrs. York, for the patience and encouragement given to our students each day!
