Tabby's Star keeps getting weirder and weirder! Bradley Schaefer has created a paper that looks at the history of the seemingly normal F3 star, and it turns out that it has been progressively dipping in luminosity for over 100 years! In case anyone has some extra free time (unheard of nowadays) feel free to check out http://www.planethunters.org/ ! Its a very accessible site for citizen scientists. The layout is easy to understand even for non-science majors and you get to help real astronomers with real data! If the name of the site sounds familiar, it should. This is the website that marked KIC 8462852 (The "I'm not saying its aliens, but...." star) and brought attention to its host system. So get out there and discover some new worlds!

Fun fact, the quote "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants." attributed mostly to Isaac Newton has been regarded as a nod to humility. However, in context, Newton said this to long time rival Robert Hooke, poking fun at his stature and accomplishments.
