Quiltmakers gather each October to enjoy four days of quilting classes and friendship in the lovely highlands of West Virginia at Quilt Camp.

fun. 2012 marks the inauguration of The Quilt Camp at Cedar Lakes, based on this tradition. Please join us at this wonderful event.

Well, I've been generating more email traffic for Quilt Camp at Cedar Lakes! If you have subscribed, you should have gotten another newsletter - this one did not have an attachment so hopefully more email servers did not block it and more people actually received it! Speaking of upcoming events, Confirmation Emails were sent out, too - to those going to Quilt Retreat at Cedar Lakes, April 26-May1.

Good morning friends! Can you believe it's been a week since we left camp?!

You might have noticed that there has been a small change here. We are transitioning to our new Page. We will keep this one live because there are so many great memories here that we still want to be able to revisit. However, for new information, updates, photos, and drum roll please.... to SHARE your photos, please join our new group, Quilt Camp at Cedar Lakes. Please be patient while we figure out the fine details of this new adventure, and remember to say hi when ya get there!

Good morning friends! Can you believe we are just one week away from Quilt Camp 2023?! This time next week, we will be finishing up breakfast and heading to our first classes. We are so excited to see all of your smiling faces, and cannot wait for all of the fun that's in store.

Have you started packing? Are you a 'planned out and organized pile' person like Linda, or are you a 'last minute wing it into a suitcase' kinda person like Mary? We have quite a few new campers this year who I'm sure are in deep thought about what they need and questioning certain things to bring. For all of our veterans, what is something that you bring to camp that you 'can't live without', what is something that you bring that maybe a new camper wouldn't have thought of? The September 8th newsletter has some great tips for packing, but maybe there is a Pro Tip that you can share. Personally, I always bring a bathroom hand soap bottle and fuzzy socks, because I can't stand to sew with shoes on and my feet get cold... lol!
