Fairplain Elementary PTO

We are so excited to announce that Fairplain Elementary school is participating in the Jackson County Community Foundation “Make an Impact” matching Grant event. 
Any money that is donated to our PTO or that we raise between now and August 31 will be matched up to $1200 by the community foundation. We are so thankful to be able to participate in this event. Our next goal for our playground is to build a picnic shelter to be used for outdoor classroom, outdoor class lunches as well as community use. 
If you would be interested in helping us with this challenge, you can use the QR code below to make a donation directly to the foundation or you can make a donation at the school. We truly appreciate any support and we look forward to participating in this activity.

We have decided to help another school in our community. We have had the honor of winning the last two years in a row (thanks to your support) and now one of our other schools are in need of a playground and we want to help. Please consider continuing saving all of your cans to help out Gilmore Elementary. If you need to still drop your cans off at Fairplain Elementary, we will gladly take them and get them to Gilmore. We are so blessed to live in such a supportive community.

♻️ Our third grade class is going to be in charge of the Million Cans Recycling Contest where we will be saving any and all aluminum cans for our school!!

🤝 We are asking for YOUR help!! This contest will be instrumental in helping us build a NEW playground this year!!

❓ How it works: Do you drink from a can and don’t know what to do with it? Come by the school starting October 1st and we will have a large dumpster just for cans but start saving now!! You can drop these off any time, any day!

🥇 We will be in a contest with 80 other schools across the United States and will be working to get 1st place! We get money for all cans donated and additional funds for winning.

We are also so excited to be partnering with ConStellium for this project!

Let’s save the Earth and help our school all at the same time! 🌍

It’s Book-fair time!!
Students will be looking today and making a wish list. They can shop Tuesday -Friday 8:00 - 11:30am. Bookfair will be open to parents to shop Wednesday from 3:00. - 5:00pm. I have attached the link if you would like to add money to an e-wallet.
