🦅💚 Our Eagles are taking flight! 💚🦅

We are off to such a GREAT start in these first few weeks of school! Here are just a few snapshots of the awesome learning happening across our campus:

➕ 3rd Grade Math is off to a strong start! Students are working hard, thinking deeply, and building those math skills! ✅

🧪 We loved seeing students self-assess their learning about mixtures in Ms. Martin’s 5th Grade Science class! What a great way for students to take ownership of their learning! ✅💚

📚 Mrs. Halvorson’s 2nd graders are rocking collaborative learning groups while practicing vocabulary strategies! Lots of student talk, teamwork, and learning happening! ✅💚

⭐ Our PreK Eagles are doing an amazing job in Mrs. Villegas’s classroom as they learn, explore, and work through learning stations! ✅💚

These are just a FEW of the great things happening at RVE! We are so proud of the strong start our teachers and students are making!

5th graders are selling spirit items for the pep rally Friday, all money raised goes towards our overnight camp field trip.

Presale’s are happening now, if you want to send money and the paper copy that was handed out earlier this week you can. We will gather them all tomorrow and return them by dismissal.

Sales begin at out front at 7:15 Friday morning

Calling all Rio Vista High School students (16 yrs and older) and Rio Vista Community members!! Our FIRST blood drive of the 2026-2027 school year is quickly approaching!! Join us at Rio Vista High School on September 3 from 8:30am-2:45pm and help SAVE LIVES!!

Seniors: you will need to receive TWO donations during the school year to receive your red honors cord from Carter Blood Care.

Pint Size Heroes: All PK-8th graders can earn their Pint Size Hero recognition by receiving TWO donations during the school year.
