Hello Critter Community! We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer break. We are gearing up for another great school year! Please make sure to check your inboxes tomorrow, August 1, as Back to School information will be coming from Dry Creek Admin. One piece we wanted to share is that TRUSD is no longer providing backpacks and headphones to students this year.
Here are some local community events that will be providing back to school families.
We can't wait to see our Critters back on campus soon! Remember that the first day of school is Tuesday, August 19th. Remember to check your inboxes tomorrow for additional important information!

A great summer resource!

Our friends at the Sacramento Public Library are providing free meals to youth this summer, starting tomorrow through August 8! Meals will be distributed at 13 Sacramento-area library locations Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 1 p.m.

Hello 3-6th Grade Parents and Caregivers, we are so proud of our students and how hard they worked on their California State test, the English Language Arts and Math CAASPP. We are wrapping up make ups this week as well as the 5th graders are finishing the Science test.

We will be rewarding the 3-6th grade students to a BBQ during lunch next week on the 27th. We are looking for donations to help make this event happen.

Dear Critter Grownups,
We are excited to announce that we will be selling Spring Candy Gram starting tomorrow! Students will have the opportunity to purchase sweet messages for their friends, teachers, staff or family members attending the school. Each Candy Gram costs $2.00 and will be available for purchase during all recesses outside of Mrs. Velasquez's room and after school outside of the cafeteria. We are accepting cash only.
A huge THANK YOU for our Leadership Students who are selling the Candy Grams! Sales will continue through Wednesday April 9th, or while supplies last.
The Candy Grams will be delivered to classrooms at the end of the day on Friday April 11th.
