📣 SENIOR GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎓

Herff Jones recently visited Rio Grande City High School to provide our seniors with important information regarding graduation announcements, class rings, senior packages, caps & gowns, and other graduation items.

📦 Order packets have been sent home with our seniors! Please take some time to review the information with your senior and make sure you don’t miss out on ordering the items you’ll need to celebrate this special milestone.

Mrs. Sara Saenz 's English II and English III students analyzed "House Taken Over" and used imagery to provide a visual representation of the setting. Her students brought the text to life through their creativity and interpretation while having fun learning together!

💙✨ YEAR 6 — WE ARE READY! ✨💙
Today was a special day for our GEAR UP Rio Grande City High School Campus Leadership Team and our District Leadership Team as we came together with one shared purpose: to prepare, plan, and continue creating opportunities for our students to succeed! 🎓🌟
We were honored to have Mr. Rick Solis, CCMR District Director, representing our District Leadership Team as we prepare for the implementation of Year 6 for our 12th-grade GEAR UP cohort.
This meeting was more than reviewing data and grant objectives—it was about looking at where our students are today, celebrating how far they have come, and asking ourselves how we can continue to do better for them tomorrow. ❤️
Our guiding question was:
🎯 How do our current CCMR outcomes align with our 12th-grade objectives, and what opportunities for improvement does our data reveal?
Together, our Rio Grande City High School District Team analyzed data from the past two years and reflected on:

During our District Share-Out, Mrs. Oneida Zurita, Assistant Principal at Rio Grande City High School, proudly presented our campus data and helped us connect our current outcomes with this year's goals. Her presentation allowed our team to identify areas of growth and, most importantly, focus on what we can do collectively to support the success of every student and every stakeholder at Rio High. 💙
Behind every number in our data is a student with a dream, a family with hopes for the future, and a community counting on us to make a difference. That is why these conversations matter. That is why collaboration matters. And that is why we continue to show up, plan with purpose, and believe in the incredible potential of our students. 🌟
