What better way to learn and practice “por favor” and “gracias” than to have your very own Spanish restaurant, both in our outdoor mud kitchen and in our exclusive indoor play village.

Our Dream scholars thoroughly enjoyed their dramatic play as chefs in the kitchen as well as being served and using their menus, all while practicing “por favor” and “gracias!” Such joy and play! We love Spanish!! Listos!!

So excited to have all our DS teachers at Dreamweaver Equine Center getting trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach, a research-focused methodology designed to inspire positive behavior rather than just manage misbehavior by transforming big feelings into positive inner wealth! Many thanks always to Tri County CMO for leading this workshop!

After this workshop, we bonded over all our student profiles, coming up with creative strategies to best support their needs, and then laughed and shed some tears over fellow teacher compliments at dinner! What a team!! So incredibly excited for this fall and beyond!

So for our final DS program day, we celebrated with an epic glow party with multiple sensory stations, two dance floors, a glow fort that we made the day before, and just endless magic, wonder, and joy! What made this event so incredibly special and heartfelt was that for all the effort and creativity our teachers put into creating this glow party, our children’s imaginations, laughter, and endless smiles made it all so worth it and more. Truly feeling blessed with the most incredible students and families and teachers because our greatest superpower is the love, respect, and mutual kindness in our community. Finally wishing farewell to an epic 2025-2026 year, full speed ahead into summer camp and prepping for our 2026-2027 new arrivals and returning DS scholars 🩶

So we had the most amazing crew film our DS phonics Letter Family song, just kidding; it was just Ms. Ali and Ms. Maggie and some donkey fun.

Our Letter Family song was exclusively created for our in-house DS students and also for DS families to sing together throughout the summer and will be available on the portal very soon. Yay!

During our last DS program week, our students had so much exciting fun using the teacher walkies for one special day and playing hide and go seek around the entire farm campus! We were explorers for the day, and it was truly an epic activity that we will have to do every year because even the teachers shared that Explorer day was one of their top DS experiences of the year!

For our last DS program week, we celebrated Pijama Day together, wearing our favorite PJs but with a Spanish twist! We spent the whole day singing our favorite Spanish songs, creating a fairy piñata in the woods, designing our own maracas for our fiesta dance party, and then movement games in our favorite language of course!

The week became wackier, more explorative, summery, and then glowtastic; and the only thing that topped these teacher designed activities were the hugs and snuggles from all our incredible students. ❤️
